Is there a way to get rid of the dues in the household ledger?

Note: This post is applicable in the Cloud database's Windows App as well as in the Legacy database.

I was wondering if there was a way to show what a household owes, minus the dues.  We have families that want to pay for books and vest but not the dues.  I can't seem to find a way to get the total they owe without including the dues.

The report named "Household Account Statement" has a checkbox to "Exclude Fees that are related to Dues".  Select that checkbox before running the report.

Another option: on the main Ledger > Fees tab, drag the Household column header into the grouping area above the grid to group all Fee records by Household. Click the filter icon in the Category header and select the dropdown checklist items for Books and Uniforms only. Now the grid will display all Fees for each household that are only for Books and Uniforms. Use the Expand All button to see details for each household. If not expanded, the balance for each household node still shows. If desired, print the grid like an ad-hoc report.

On an individual family's Household Ledger, use the same filter technique on the Fees Category column header to select only Books and Uniforms.
