Clubber of the Month / Year

Note: This post is applicable in the Cloud database's Windows App as well as in the Legacy database.

Is there a way to have the software run a report each month to show, based on point totals and sections done, where the lead child in each club is so we can give them clubber of the month? Then, can the software keep track of who has won durring the clubyear and do a similar tally at the end for clubber of the year?

Try the Achievement Report (under the Reports tab).  This will give you the information you need to determine which clubber(s) completed the most sections in a given time frame and/or have earned the highest total points. 

There are different report types and sorting options.  In this situation I'd recommend the one to get 'Individual members listed with a total of sections and points', then sort by "Points Earned (High to Low)".

We use what Rick suggested (Achievement Report) every week to track achievement and award a "Wow Award" to clubbers that complete 5+ Sections in a club night. You can create a custom award and select that for the clubber and you would be able to sort and filter for that on the Awards Tab any time you want to see it.

For Clubber of the Month (for Sparks and T&T) - and other special challenges....

We also use the Achievement Report.

For Clubber of the Month - we select the desired club - Select the Date Range (Club Dates) - and sort by Points.

Pretty easy to get.

We do keep our monthly reports because we do not allow the same person to be clubber of the month multiple times...only once per year.  We compare against prior reports and select the next top 2 clubbers in each club for the awards.  Just the way we do it...and we've never had any issues from the clubbers, leaders, or parents doing it this way (spreads the award around to many clubbers - good motivation tool).

Along these same lines - I was looking at the report mentioned.  We want to award  "Club of the Week" or maybe of the month, or both - would need to track points by week and then the award would be monthly or maybe quarterly.  I see option #3 where it has group totals by date, but it looks like we have to manually track after that?
