Question: Why is there an Entry Mode on the member's handbook tab? What do I use it for?

Answer: The Entry Mode controls what happens when sections are marked completed. There are three options:

"Normal" - calculates points and awards after each section is checked/un-checked. This is the default and the mode to use for regular data entry.

"History" - only triggers book level awards. Use this mode when entering historical books for a clubber. (See this post for more about historical records: https://www.approvedworkman.com/forum/index.php?topic=1685.0.)

"Speed" - does not trigger any awards. Use this mode to quickly enter multiple sections when accurate dates of completion are not needed. When a section is marked as complete, all sections from the beginning of the book up to that point will also be checked.
