If our church purchases a single-user license, can multiple people use it?

This post only applies to the Legacy database!

Question: What are the licensing guidelines? If our church purchases a single-user license, can multiple people use it?

Answer: A Single-user license permits installation and use of a copy of the Approved Workman database software (the SOFTWARE) on any single computer. The SOFTWARE may also be installed on and run directly from a single USB flash drive. A single-user license is intended for a single database installation that will be used to track data for an entire club. With a single-user license, separate user accounts for each person who needs access to the database can and should be created, but only one person at a time will be able to log in.

A Multi-user license permits installation of the SOFTWARE on either:

a) a single computer with creation of secondary databases (determined by the user count of the license) using the Check-out/Check-in functionality for non-networked access.

or

b) a network file server (or a shared folder accessible on a networked PC), to allow access by two or more users (determined by the user count of the license) concurrently.

All licenses permit the SOFTWARE to be duplicated for backup purposes.
