Hi Rick,
I am in the Contact tab entering new contacts. I have 4 options in the dropdown menu for the Contact Type (e-mail, home visit, phone call, postcard). Is there a way to add a "custom" option there? During this recruiting phase we talk to a lot of people at church or church functions "in person." We rarely do a home visit so I will put them under that for now, but I was just curious.

Yes, you can add custom drop down list values. This is a good example of AW's flexibility by using Generic Lookup values. Go to Admin > Generic Lookups and it'll make perfect sense when you see it. ;)
