Title: Identifying CPR-trained adults
Post by: DavidCrow on September 12, 2011, 07:53:51 AM
Note: This post is applicable in the Cloud database's Windows App as well as in the Legacy database.

Can a spot be added on the leader registration form about being CPR trained?

A nice little check-off box is probably what you're wanting but until then, you could modify the text in the Service Opportunities text field,
i.e., CPR Trained _____(Y/N)

Admins > Options > Reg. Form > Instructions & BG Check > Leaders

* this field, if you haven't noticed already, can be a little rascal-ly  ;) at times because you do not see the final formatting until you Preview the form. Also the 3 line limit is a factor... but the results are beautiful  ;D*

[Note: in the Windows app, the Options tab is under Admin > System Settings. akj]

I'll give it a go.  Thanks Dave.

By the way, some of the text on the Clubber part of that window needs a bit of wordsmithing.  The last sentence should start, "This area may also contain..." and the rest of that sentence does not show.

I recommend using the Leadership Training dialog to track CPR training. First, go to Admin > Generic Lookups and select the Category of "Leadership Training". Add a new record like "CPR Training".

Now you can add this "CPR Training" record to all qualified Leaders. Either open the Leader's individual record, click the Leadership tab and then the Training History tab to enter a new record; or use the main Leaders module and select the Training History tab to add a new record from there.

[Note: in the Windows app, Generic Lookups are under Admin > System Settings.]
