How to create a desktop shortcut for AWdb

This video only applies to the Legacy database!
Cloud database users should NOT put a shortcut on the desktop for the Windows App.

Here is a video demonstrating how to create a desktop shortcut.

Here are the steps:

1. Right-click an empty area of your desktop, and select New > Shortcut.
2. From the Create shortcut dialog, click Browse. Navigate to your Approved Workman folder.
3. Select the "ApprovedWorkman.exe" file. Click OK and then click Next.
4. In 'Select a Title for the Program', edit the text so it reads just "Approved Workman".
5. Click Finish. There should now be a new desktop icon with the "white checkmark" icon on the desktop.
