Title: How do we use AWdb on two computers?
Post by: Annette on June 06, 2013, 02:42:22 PM
This post applies only to the Legacy database. An alternative to using the Check-out/Check-in feature or setting up the Legacy database on a LAN is to switch to a Cloud database which provides access from anyplace with an internet connection and is available to multiple users at once.

Question: We currently have 2 computers that we can use, but we didn't get to download the program on the 2nd computer yet this year. Is there is a simple way to do this for the next year? Our commander has a laptop with windows 8 and I have a desktop computer which is very old. Hopefully we will be able to update soon.

Answer: For non-networked computers, use the Database Check-out/Check-in feature (requires a multi-user license). See this post for more information: https://www.approvedworkman.com/forum/index.php?topic=145.0
