This post is applicable to the Cloud database's Windows App as well as the Legacy database.
The Legacy database and the Windows app are Windows applications and can only be run in some flavor of a Windows Operating System such as Windows XP, Vista, Windows 7, 8 or 10. They will not run on the native Mac OS.
However, many folks that have MacBooks run virtual machine software such as "VMWare Fusion", or "Parallels Desktop" which enables them to run any Windows app on their Mac, inside a virtual Windows machine.
