You have two options:
1) Use the Gather Email Addresses utility under the main Tools menu. Note the instructions on that dialog, and also refer to the user guide for more about the importance of using the "Member Link" field for email addresses.
When selecting email addresses for an entire household (not limited to specific clubs or member types), the Gather E-mail address utility assumes the default primary Email address should be used for the entire household. However, to select ONLY Clubbers or ONLY Members for a specific club, that's where things change.
Notice the first Tip in the Gather E-mail Address dialog: "To use the detailed selection criteria (Club Name, Member Type, Status, Code) you must first use the Phone/Email dialog for each household to link specific persons to specific E-mail addresses."
Open the Phone/Email dialog and click the Info button in the toolbar and read the details about the Member Link field which says: "Select a household member if you want to link a phone or email to a specific person. This link is used by the Gather E-mail Address utility to allow you to select only those addresses linked to a specific Member Type. "
2) Instead of the Gather Email address utility, there is an alternative method for collecting email addresses (from either the Clubber or Leader List). For example, to send an email to all active Leaders: apply a filter to the main Leader List column to show only Active leaders, then select all of them (Ctrl + A) and then right-click the highlighted area and from the popup menu select "Copy Email Addresses". This will copy all email addresses into clipboard memory so you can paste them into an outgoing email "Send To" field. Reminder: use the "Blind" To (BCC) field when sending emails to a large group so every recipient does not see all of the email addresses.
